FIRE OF FORGIVENESS

For eons, it has been the tradition to use fire as a purification ritual, to help us release what we can't mentally do on our own. Ceremonial burning is visible,  tangible, and powerful. While this ceremony has no religious roots, it is deeply spiritual and has space for the endless expressions of Spirit. I have combined this ceremony with my training in leading Cacao ceremonies in which we drink sacred chocolate as a plant sacrament to help us open our hearts to our True Selves, which is Pure Holy Love. 

WHAT TO EXPECT

As we circle together in beauty, we will begin with a short introduction of the grounds and the series of events during our ceremony. Giving thanks for the Universal forces and green goddess energy that infuse our ceremonial chocolate, we will share in a communal toast of our cacao drink. After pausing to feel the medicine flow through our bloodstream, we will stand for a few minutes of heart-opening movement. Once we are more open and receptive to our heart's message for us, we will be given journal prompts to help the purging of any ill feelings we have towards ourselves, others, and worldly constructs. When the pens are down,  we will circle around and you will have an opportunity to share (not required) something about what you are releasing into the fire. We will sit in silence for a moment in time to feel the letting go before we shift into celebration. During this time you are invited to sing, rattle, drum, and dance. The ceremony is approximately three hours, but because we are in ceremony, I ask that you keep that time constraint lightly.
