Renew your body, relax your mind, and refresh your sense of Oneness with a yoga practice designed to ground and regenerate you and then lift you up. The chakras are energy centers in the body that were created even before our human body was formed in the womb. Before anything is created an unseen force of energy is behind it. In our humanity, we forget to tend to our energy field and imbalances can occur. We also forget to nurture our bodies and brains with deep rest. Restorative yoga for the chakras is the restful practice of rejuvenating the physical body, mental body, and the lifeforce energy within.
Chakra Restoration is the perfect solution for attuning the chakras as it is the slowest form of yoga. During each pose, we are deeply supported by the pillows, cushions, blankets, blocks, and straps so that we can relax completely and fully receive the quality of each position. We recline in each pose for several minutes. While we rest in stillness the body is profoundly nourished and revitalized. Even more importantly we have the time to commune with the sacred space inside us.
Each chakra is a vortex to a special kind of energy such as; belonging, connection, power, love, expression, divine intelligence, and oneness. The seven chakras begin at the base of our torso, between the anus and perineum, then travel up the spine, ending at the fontal (the baby soft spot). The Chakra Restoration is designed to take us on a divine journey through our energy system.
This unique experience combines the ancient wisdom of yoga with mindfulness techniques and the science of positive thought. Together, these modalities create a beautiful vibration of wholeness and relaxation within the body, mind, and spirit. Come, feed your Soul. Allow yourself time to repair the entire system. Connect with all the layers of your being. Drink wholeness and unification.
Preparation
To avoid indigestion, during your Chakra Restoration session, please eat nothing one hour before the session begins. If your session is online, please log in early, as we will start promptly at the start time. If we are meeting in person please arrive 15 minutes early. Please have all of your props ready before we begin our practice. The props you will need are:
1 yoga mat or a blanket
2 additional blankets (Mexican style if available)
2 Yoga Blocks (or 2 stacks of books six inches high)
1 Yoga Bolster, Studio sized (or 2-3 firm pillows or cushions)
1 Yoga Strap (or another five/six-foot-long belt)
Optional: Eye Pillow (or rice bag)

For added sensation, you may like to use aromatherapy or candlelight to help soothe your nervous system.
